Lubricate your links
The new helicopter kits typically are equipped with turnbuckles on the head for link adjustment. Trouble is, when you try to turn them the links pop off the ball. My solution is to grease the rod ends. That way the adjustment is easier without the links sticking and popping of the plastic links.

Great idea!
Also, these make tracking much easier. https://www.espritmodel.com/pushrod-turnbuckle-steel-secraft-m3-2.aspx
Is there a concern over the grease interacting with the plastic that may weaken it?
