My first build, setting the mechanics in the fuselage and I need to extend the main rotor and I need some advice on the linkage. It will need to be lengthened as well. What is the best practice? Thank you

a suggestion that would need verified by others, but it it would seem to me that you don't. Rather only fit and adjust longer servo to swash rods with longer main shaft of choice where the anti rotation bracket is likely to still be tall enough for scale flying...however it depends on how high you intend to go of course...
There is also an earlier taller head block that may work well, where possibly only the grip pitch links would need replaced with longer ones.....https://shop.align.com.tw/product_info.php?products_id=3713
That link is on the wrong side of the swashplate, flip it to the left side so Align is upright and readable.
Thank you all very much, the mechanics have not been dialed in 100% so there is some corrections to be made and thank you Darrell for your comment about the link. Scott, the point I'm pointing at is part of the main rotor and therefore the question about making longer or replacing with something completely different. Thanks.
Yes Darrell is correct, the swash driver links should have a more 90 degree symmetry at mid shaft seen in the image - as Darrell says if the Align reads correct then they will be! That taller head block by the way is just that, raises the rotor head height without changing the mast, where only longer swash to grip links are required
Ed, you can raise the head height by using the head block I mentioned or a taller Align shaft or combination - neither of which requires altering the "swash driver" linkage the arrow in your image is pointing at, as you simply alter the servo to swash control rods and or grip pitch links to suit and raise the position of swash - Unless you intend a very tall head height these options will work. Being scale you do not need quite the same top end pitch as original head design. Hope the info helps!
Thats good news! thanks again everybody
Darrell is right. That arm should be on the opposite side of the swashplate. Crossing the made rotor hub. Screw is on right and that arm should be going left.
With Align 800 Trekker mechanics and extended main shaft and ccw scale rotation direction.
