Who wants to share his settings data of his Roban EC135/130 with BD Axon with me?
I've been looking for the right setup of the Axon in the EC130 for several days now and can't get the right feeling to fly it, Engine is a Hacker A50-12L Turnado V4, Esc a jeti Mezon 130, Servos: Savox 3x SA-1258 TG Swash, 1x 1283SG tail (30Kg/cm) on the video you can see the first flights, there was quite a bit of wind (4Bft)

I do not believe there are specific setups that work with specific machines. Sure, there are general guidelines, but my recommendation is to have a look at this article (link below) and then methodically go through tweaks on your machine. Identify the behaviors you don't like. More often than not, it's the mechanical setup that is giving you problems (vs the gyro).

Having studied the video, I can see that the tail gain appears too high (or the servo is too slow). In all fairness, it does sound really windy and typically a fenestron has less bite than an exposed tail rotor. It's likely a combination of the two but dial down the gain and test the heli in RATE mode vs heading hold.
Thanks , will look at that 😄
Hi A.G I think your tail servo is a little slow, not for shure but I learned in the past that a tail servo needs to be faster then 0.13 sec. Your specs from savox say 0.13 sec at 6 v. I am using for my roban ec135 the digital AGF a80 bhx-h cyclic servo at 760us instead of 1520us, it's giving you 0.05 sec at 6v 60degr. My headspeed, 4 blade, is 1250rpm. There is also an upgrade for the fenestron tail at Helicopter Baumann. The original has no axial bearings on the blades shafts and they have an upgrade with bearings. So your servo needs way less power and accordingly also less powerconsumtion....
The servo for tail is on advice of several EC130 owners , they flying well with it , i will finetune all the parameters , but it takes a lot of time because bad wheater conditions in Europe , will try today
Today i have tested with the settings of Michael as a start and a little higher rpm and the control is much better , have to learn flying such a heavy chopper ,
some images after the flight
its got the "look" 😄
the sky is the limit 😄
