Michael, I'm running a 3X on my phoenixrctech 600 but I can't get a nice stable hover. The heli seems gain altitude and loose it on it's own without any stick input. There are any suggestions/tips and/or print screen from the sw settings that you can share? Please and thanks
The gyro is not designed to maintain a hover. Many factors contribute to altitude variation in a stable hover. Wind is chief among them and constant head speed another. How much variation are you seeing?
I see jumps of 2-3 feet at least. I understand the wind is a factor but with my phoenixrctech 600 flybar, even in windy condition I don't see such jump in altitude. I attached the print screen that i have setup; I need more training on that. ;)
I see a couple of things right off the bat: 1. Increase the gain to 65-70 2. Lower the initial response rate to 4 3. Make sure you have ZERO trim in the radio (sub-trim is ok when you are on the trim tab to ensure that the on-screen values are set to 0 when sticks are neutral.

Try these things.
I'll try and let you know, thanks
