You have 3 foundational disciplines. The Builder, The Modeler, The Pilot. They all phase into one another. It has taken me much pratice and patience just to recognize when I'm falling down one of the 3 rabbit holes. This fall leads to bottle becks and frustration. Soooo

Most on this forum share the 3 disciplines you mentioned via videos or post, sharing the amazing work, builds and flying they do.
The process of model building or a scratch build is always an interest to me. I personally learn form what is posted.
In my opinion, this is the DNA of scale modeling. We build, we model and we fly the systems we create. Weather a kit system or a ground up build, it pretty much the same. The goal is to make it fly without issue. We see that on this forum globally on a daily basis. There is some amazing schit out there and thanks to the contributors. A wealth of knowledge .
Thanks to the folks that post there amazing projects to keep me working to the next level.
