Dremel is the best! I like a thin cut wheel. I get close to the edge but leave the rest for sanding block. WEAR A MASK. Also helpful to have a vacuum running with the hose close to suck what you can out of the air. It's a mess.
Also, select Building > Fiberglass from the filter set on the left to see more posts on this.
If you look upper right in the pic you will see a little reciprocating saw and power unit. This little setup is highly recommended for cutting out wood and fiberglass. Variable speed and power via the power unit. It makes it way easier and it won’t climb and jump around like the Dremel does when I get a little impatient and move too fast. I still use the Dremel to trim anything extra. Pic is from my 429 build yet to be posted. I’ll look for the model number next time I’m in the shop
Thank you all
That recip saw is a MicroLux by Micro-Mark. Power provided by Kaleas Minitool.
I use a lot the Dremel 3000 + Right Angle Attachment 575 ; feeling more precision to cut&sand parts with keeping the wrist in line.
Thank you both for the suggestions, looking at purchasing both items.
A hot knife is another good option.

Watched your video's, wish I had an answer for your paint. But I would like to ask what you used for the rivets, the material in the syringe and what size needle did you use?
