Vario H145 1/6 conversion
I will use it as proof of concept for my next H135 1/6 build.
And currently rebuilding the tail for a SAB belt driven Fenestron conversion using the latest Vario 10 blade which is beautiful.
Pictures show the original configuration I discarded and currently converting to all SAB components at the rear.

Nice !!!!!!!!
That thing is sweet! Kontronik motor?
No Michael it's the new Egodrift Eclipse scale edition I had wound to 420 kV by my friend Vincent. I'm a no nonsense hobbyist and spend my money wisely. Been using them for 7 years, they simply are great for scale as well and can be ordered with any kV. The Eclipse 4230EC is a huge improvement over the previous 4035HT. It runs even cooler and torque is better, no need for any cooling device inside the 20 lbs Airbus. It's no egg fryer either... Still I get times similar the older less powerful HT but with a lot more oomph. The iKon2 is configured as "scale", a template I devised for scale flight. I also have the excellent & cool running Tribunus III (and II), YGE Aureus and XDFly esc's that are great for external governor, telemetry and integration. Newbies report barely 5 minute flying times with 5000-6000 packs. Mine does 7 minutes on 4100 and 6 on 3300 lol. My goal is to build, fly & learn on the best machinery.
Wow!! That is incredible! I had no idea that it was even possible to customize like that. Thank you for that insight and detailed explanation.

To this... I already had gone for the SAB mixer which is a lot sturdier than the Vario. They recently released an upgrade that looks similar to mine.
I now have two of the 10 blade Vario. It's a work of art. I will rebuild the first one to full SAB parts as well. Here the Roban unit I updated on the H130.
