Mechanics and Tail Drive
Where to begin! The stock landing gear or legs that came with the model were carbon and would not stay glued to the skis and kept breaking so I went with brass. Problem solved, Second was getting the tail drive and boom lined up with the fuse. No easy task, lots of sanding, modifying and drilling to make it happen, but im totally satisfied. It only took five hours to complete. This time around i kinda upped my game with a few more tools in the garage, first piece i used was a belt sander, i think I've used it every time i have worked on the model since inception, Second a proton micro cutter and finally a magnetic matt for all of my screws. Any ways thats it for now, until next time.

This will be tremendous!! Will be watching
Wow, I'm in MN but never knew our DNR flies such a pretty bird: ) Good luck with the build!
How did the build go? Any updates?
are you worried at all about the brass not being up to holding the load? Brass tends to be soft and bendy. Did you try roughing up the carbon prior to glueing?
I am also building the same. Are you able to share the interior structure (mechanics and wooden frame inside the fuselage)? Thanks.
