This is a NOS Scale Aerodyne Bell 429 I purchased last year. It was missing the doors and I plan to make a set. I used a modified Goblin 500. Only 3 hovers in the driveway so far but flies sweetly and silently. It's still under construction and if it's a good flyer, I will buy or make a stacked tail rotor for it.

That's a wee bit chilly for my fingers!
Nice job, I love your builds!
Is this not a Roban? If you have a link to the manufacturer site, I’ll add them to the category list.
No, it's an 800 size from RC Aerodyne. They are out of production. :)
But I think Cliff was selling Roban under his RC Aerodyne brand so it is a Roban. I had 2012 models we reviewed for him.
Well I thought it was a Roban first. It is different, first Roban is 700 size and mine is bigger at 1/6 scale. Also the dog house is different. It's in 2 pieces while the Roban in one piece. We go back 10 years ago on this. Maybe its the same manufacturer as Roban but under a different trade name. We could ask Mike Spinner who built one identical but a different color. Here's a video of his. And note Mike's comment...
Also, it was sold as a scale conversion for T-rex while Roban's comes with its own set of mechanics.
