For a clockwise rotating head, couldn't you simply use your left hand for the right hand rule? Yes, that's a serious question 😀
Nope! I thought the same but the orthogonal is different! Put both thumbs up and notice that your left hand incorrectly predicts an upward torque vector for clockwise rotation. That would be wrong. In a clockwise system the vector is downward toward the fuselage.
