800 Airwolf overhaul

Hello, my name is Chris Pry and I'm new to this forum. I was asked to post my progress to this forum from a freind for others who might have this aircraft to see my progress.

April 5th 2019 I began the build! She took her first flight August 2019. 126 flights later and it's time for another phase. The long phase. This will be 100% inspection and overhaul. Checking every bolt, bearing, control rod and complete frame inspection/repair. Going to renew the wolf to her former glory! Adding the sound card and speakers as well. Should be ready for spring flying. Let fun begin!

Corrosion found on the hub, blade cuffs, and main rotor shaft. Will be repaired and treated with CPC

Removed the tail boom and tail Rotor drive assembly..inspected and appears to be in good shape. No signs of any damage and shaft is still centered.

Main mechanics have been removed. I did a build set up where all I need to do is disconnect 5 wire connectors and 4 bolts and the entire mechanics comes out as one unit.

Now the mechanics have been removed, the airframe inspection begins. Found some stress cracks in some of the paint and a door window glue deteriorated. Over all the frame itself is in great shape.
