Step into my insanity for a minute as I work my way through the logistical challenges of getting a massive HeliClassics KA-32 into a van (with another massive model, tools, cooler, giant power station, airplane, etc.). It's the things around the hobby that sometimes give us the most heartburn. This was a fun puzzle to solve.

HeliClassics’ own Matthias Strupf visited Littleton, CO to help me set up the KA-32 I bought from him. I got to fly it after Matthias tuned it. What a bird!

Beautiful!! Your pass in front of the stands (before your first landing) was ultra cool. How’s it feel compared to, for instance, your big Lama (the one that set down a bit hard bc of temp/elev) or any other tail rotor heli you’ve flown?

It flies like the Mi-171 but you have to push it forward vs the 171 which WANTS to go forward.
