I've been building / flying R C aircraft for 39 years and I still enjoy it immensely. And needless to say, take offs and landings are still fun!
I have never seen an ugly airplane. However, some may be a bit more unusual than others.
It is interesting for me to see the advances that have been made in R C - some good and some - not so much!
Finally, I had the good fortune of owning an Ultra - Light airplane for 5 years. When my wheels left the ground, I had no cares in the world at all!!

Thanks Chad. That is exactly what I was wondering. It sure would not be any fun to have a blade come off of a prop and end up who knows where!

I am sort of curious if you have ever printed any propellers and if so, did they work well OR was there any drawbacks compared to factory made propellers?

Hello Chad. That is some very impressive looking machinery there. What all have you done with the resin printer?

Hello Angus. Here is a picture of my above mentioned tools - altogether, sitting as they normally do. As can be seen by the included aluminum yard stick, they take up a foot print of 30 inches. When I need to use one, I merely slide one forward on the 2.5 foot wide table. Funny you mention Dremel...

Hey Chad. This is an amazing project. If I did the math correctly, you will have about 45 pounds of battery alone in this, as 72 cells x 10 ounces each = 720 ounces divided by 16 ounces = 45 pounds. This is awesome!! How long will it take to charge the 'battery' for each flight?? Oh, you might have...

That looks like it will be a pretty nice ride Michael. When you get it finished, you could put lots of models of full sized Van's aircraft in your van!! Then your van could be full of Van's!!

Wow, that is fantastic!!!!!!!!!! Good for you James!!!!! That old saying: "Where there is a will, there is a way," definitely holds true. Years ago, I had an acquaintance that had lost a hand in some sort of accident. After the mishap, his hand was replaced with a hook. But he still flew - with a...

If you got the longer van, all you would have needed to do to accommodate that extra length would be to cut an opening in the garage door, just a bit bigger than the van and then the extra length of the longer van would just be extending out of your garage a little bit. : )
