Stewart, the 180mm 34/36 tail blades are the correct tail blades. I’ve built a couple of these and currently have one under construction. I suspect you may have something else going on. What gyro?

Keep in mind that most fuselages are designed around the more popular pod and boom helicopters. It makes sense to design around them for marketing purposes. There’s always going to be some work involved to get what you have available to work.

Romeo, the mixing and matching of the different mechanics is fantastic. A lot of work goes into making it work. I’ve learned a few things observing what you have already done. I’m going to do a little experiments to see what I can hide in the dog house. Thanks for the tips

The gearbox without the rotor shaft weighs around 1.4 kg with the dome and servo holder around 2 kg. The rotor shaft is separate in order to be able to use different shafts and dome heights. The design has been designed as a modular technique with possibilities for modification.

Patrick, I’ve had a solo shot3 for a couple years now. It is great when you get good sat signal and you’re more than 25-30 feet away from the transmitter. At times it can get lost tracking aircraft. There’s a little more work they need to do to help with precision.
