WSPS "Wire Strike Protection System"

Other than realistic weathering, in my opinion nothing gives a helicopter more "character" than the WSPS " Wire Strike Protection System". It is a great safety feature on a lot of full size helicopters and adds a tremendous addition in detail to any model. When installing the WSPS on your model try to look at pictures and choose the best size for your model. Too big and it looks goofy and too small it doesn't give that "aggressive" look that really adds to the look. Also, don't forget the "windshield deflector" to give that authentic finished appearance. Also, keep in mind that the WSPS was not introduced until the late seventies. If you are building military models, especially in the Vietnam era you would not want to install WSPS.
