Terms of Service

Effective October 21, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Kranitz Enterprises, Inc. (doing business as OwnTheCrowd) ("we," "us"), which operates RCPilot at rcpilot.com. By using RCPilot you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use RCPilot.

1. What RCPilot is

RCPilot is an online community: pilots post, comment, react, follow each other and the subjects they care about, and write to each other privately. We provide the site and its tools. We do not check what pilots post before it appears, and we do not vouch for it.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email or, where offered, by text message to your phone. There is no password. Keep access to that email and phone secure: anyone who can read the code can sign in as you.
  • Use your real first and last name. Do not use a name that sounds like RCPilot's staff, and do not pretend to be someone else. One person, one account.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account.

3. What you post

You keep ownership of what you post: words, photos, videos, files, events and the rest. You give Kranitz Enterprises, Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, resize, adapt and distribute it in order to run, show and promote RCPilot (including in share images, notifications, emails and search results), for as long as it is on RCPilot and for a reasonable time after, and you confirm you have the right to post it. When you delete a post or a comment, it leaves the site, but we may keep a copy, as the Privacy Policy explains.

Do not post anything that is unlawful, that you have no right to post, that harasses, threatens, deceives or spams anyone, that shares someone else's private information, or that is sexually explicit. Post in the world and the place it belongs, and do not sell in the community: selling belongs on RCMarket.

If you believe something on RCPilot infringes your copyright, write to support@rcpilot.com with the material, where it appears, your contact details and a statement that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner. We will remove material that infringes.

4. How you treat other pilots

Do not harass, threaten, deceive, impersonate or spam anyone, including in private messages, which may not pose as ${f.N} or its staff. Do not collect other pilots' details for unrelated purposes. Do not scrape, copy in bulk, overload, probe or interfere with RCPilot, and do not use automated means to create accounts, post or send messages.

5. The assistant

RCPilot's assistant uses artificial intelligence to read your post and suggest where it is filed. It can be wrong. You are responsible for your post, including how it is filed; check it before you post.

6. Moderation

We and our moderators may, at our discretion and without notice, review what is reported, hide or remove a post or comment, move it to where it belongs, limit features, or suspend or close an account that we believe breaks these Terms, puts pilots at risk or harms RCPilot. A suspended account is signed out and cannot sign back in until it is restored.

7. Disclaimer

RCPilot is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that RCPilot will be uninterrupted, secure or error free, or that anything posted on it is accurate or safe to act on.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Kranitz Enterprises, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to RCPilot or anything pilots post or do. Our total liability for any claim related to RCPilot is limited to one hundred US dollars.

9. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Kranitz Enterprises, Inc. and its officers, employees and moderators against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from what you post, your use of RCPilot, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or RCPilot will be brought only in the courts located in Colorado, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, write to support@rcpilot.com and give us thirty days to resolve it.

11. Changes and ending

We may change these Terms. When we do, we will update the effective date above, and for material changes we will give notice on the site or by email. Using RCPilot after a change means you accept it. You may stop using RCPilot at any time and delete your account under My Profile. We may suspend or end RCPilot or any part of it.

12. The rest

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about RCPilot. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them with the community.
