Radio changes through the years

I've been a JR guy since the days of the original shuttle. Ending with xg14 from Japan. Have had spektrum and friends as well. I bought a radiomaster tx 16 and have been flying with a goosky s1 to learn. Are scale flyers going the open source route or sticking with Jeti and the like
