To what lengths will you go to accommodate your model helicopter? Buy a new rig? Expand your garage? Love the strap solution! While shorter than yours, I too had trouble transporting the Cobra through doorways, steep backyard terrains and flight line. I made a board with skid clips that can be fastened to this collapsible cart. The board also detaches and serves as a locked down base in the SUV. All the flight equipment like radio and tools fit inside the cart.
