No, I had a 600ESP with a shortened 700 boom and a standard 700 torque tube. I think from memory I had to shorten the boom about 32mm? to get it the right length to fit the 600 tail box. With the setup I had the main shaft to tail rotor shaft was the exact length to fit the Marvelcraft 350.

Hey Scott, Why not use a 600E tail gear box instead of the 700? Fits perfectly in the tail and is completely covered. As you know, the 600E and 700E use the same diameter boom and torque tube so its very easy to modify the 700 boom length. The 600 tail box was plenty strong enough on my AS350.
