HeliStorm was the first RC event my wife ever attended. To top it all off, she tried flying for the first time. I had to insist that she try the Fly Wing Huey. After a brief lesson from Gonzalo Martinez (she doesn’t trust me), she was slicing through the sky!

An update.
I have now installed the mechanics, partially set up the FBL and set up my Jeti CB-200 etc. Frame is now powder coated for the forward section and red and yellow paint to the aft of that. Canopy is now all cut out, primed and first coat of paint. I also started working on scale detail such as the 538 panel screws and installed the glass. Now this has to be taken all apart for detail finishing and more. Lots of fun.

Slow turn into nose-in plus landing. Instagram and FB reels limit you to 60 and 90 second clips respectively, which is why these are so short. In the next round of videos, I’ll do a long form one for SHP and snip it up for the social media, attention deficit platforms!
