Pigeons Playing…

Jul 3, 2023

…Ping Pong.

Been a bit since I posted progress on my S-92. Have several sections of the mold finished. All is going pretty good. The goal is to have all the upper cowls to be removed very easily. I would like the cowls and fuse to have flanges and attach with pins and magnets opposed to a “shoe box” type flange with screws. Where the aft dog house meets the tail drive shaft fairing is the tough part. The natural seam line along the cowlings roll onto the top of the fuse. The idea would be to make it in the fewest amount of mold parts with the fuse flanges molded with the fuse side sections so when removed from the mold the flanges are done. There is a solution just have to find it. If you gents have any thoughts please share.

Its gaining weight every day with added sections. Its getting close to 80 lbs. i am guessing when all mold sections are done it will be in the 110-120 lb range.

A few progress pics,

Thank for stopping by,

B.
