“Coming through, Make a hole”

Jul 1, 2024

UIH,

It’s finally time to cut the hole for the swash and work towards fitting some cowlings among other things. I made a copy from the drawing to get the correct shape and size for the hole then got the wiz wheel out and started cutting. Came out nice.

I also did the final install of the motor and clutch assembly. The mechanic module is about complete less servo to swash links which should be here in a day or two. Once all this is complete I can start rigging the head. I added a shelf to support the ESC and will add another forward of the mechanics to hold the Central Box along with the brake and gear controller. The RX packs may also mount on this shelf but we will see how everything fits.
Main battery’s will stand vertical just behind the cockpit to keep weight as far forward as possible.

There are a few other little things that need addressed however the plan is to have the power train mechanical pretty much finished up by weeks end then move on to the electrical and wiring.

A side note,

I picked up some blade bags from TGM (Tyler Gray Models). I have 4 or 5 bags one for each model. If you guys are looking for blade bag, this is a great bag. Well constructed with a quilted lining for protection and handle for carrying. I threw in a few pics. Check them out.

Thanks for dropping by,

B.
