BEIER-ELECTRONIC Sound Systems

I have been using sound systems for many years with great results. I had one of my models at a show a few years ago and as I was spooling up I heard the announcer saying what a realistic turbine I was using, he was very surprised to find out it was an electric model with a sound system. I used the older ModelSoundsInc system for years but they went out of business and BeierElectronics, a German...

RotorFlight 2.3 for scale flight

This is my old Marvel-Craft H125 700 with RVE DUBHE mechanics, I switched to from SAB Kraken 700 and it's much lighter. I used this very easy to fly platform for my first Vantac 007 RF TW/X20RS configuration. It's very important to use the FrSky recommended servo order. I had to change it in my radio which was configured for MSH for Futaba order. I still have a long way to do before it's as...

Converting the Roban 470 Cobra to a FrSky X18 and TD R6 Receiver

RCPilotConverting the Roban 470 Cobra to a FrSky X18 and TD R6 ReceiverThanks for stopping by! I'm honored to have the opportunity to share what I've learned while converting my ready-to-fly Roban 470 Cobra to work with my own radio system. I'm not a very experienced RC helicopter pilot, an

Multiplex

Does anyone use Multiplex Safety Switch Twinnbatt pro(M6)? I am trying to decide between the Multiplex and Jeti CB210. But the Multiplex has better numbers(35Amp).
Jeti only 15Amp.
I would like to power my receivers and servos with 2SLipo.
I will use HV servos(5x). Helicopter is Vario 1/7 Bell 212.

Need help. Have a 900 size Vario R22. It flys great but am having a problem. Burning up tail rotor servos. On the third one now and at this point it wont last long. After a 7 minute flight the servo is hot enough you can blister your finger (if you could hold it on it long enough) . Shorten the flight time to 5 minutes not much difference, still hot. The cyclic servos are just fine. What we...
